THE RED CATTERPILLAR'S HOPE FOR THE FLOWERS

The caterpillar was scared. He blushed from fear. And he became all red. The red caterpillar trembled. He felt that he was too heavy for the stem.  “You can do it,” cheered the flowers.  The caterpillar was thinking if he could just be content and munch on the leaves.  But he was hoping for the flowers. The fuchsia petals looked pretty and he felt that ache to nibble on them - just like what he did to this. He wanted to remember their colors and file those in his dreams. The flowers knew that the caterpillar would put them to tatters. But they were willing to sacrifice. ...

There were still gladiola wildflowers on the wayside. The others have already wilted.  I thought, "Life is short!" So, I took time to have photo ops with the flowers ☺ I always find joy in God's creation and all things great and small. Everyday that I passed them by, they have looked ordinary.
